The Role: 

You will be an integral part of a growing team, with an opportunity to work closely with the partners of the firm. You will also be encouraged to manage client relationships whilst managing the following tasks:

  • Completing business year-end Financial Accounts and Income Tax Returns (for all entity types);
  • Preparing business analytical data (financial ratios, benchmarking, tax planning, etc);
  • Completing all other statutory compliance requirements.
  • Liaising with government bodies.
  • Liaising with clients on software consultancy matters.
  • Experience with the ATO Tax Agent Portal.
  • Career progress to be a tax specialist and Supervisor.


Qualifications & experience:

  • Good organization skills to manage files and records.
  • Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong collaborative skills, a dedicated work ethic and active learner
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all areas
  • Be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and be target driven.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain good working relationship.

You will also have the following proven experience and strong education background:

  • Australian university qualified degree (majoring in Accounting)
  • CPA in progress (we will sponsor your CPA program).
  • Outstanding tax knowledge of Australian tax system  
  • Solid foundation of technical skills in taxation and accounting
  • Exposure to Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB & 360 Simple fund etc;
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills.
